About The Site

Purple Rose is an aggregation of writing I've done on the Gundam series over time. I like revisiting my favourite entries and writing deep dives into themes and character relationships - these make for dreadfully long twitter threads, and are definitely better off being collected on a dedicated website.

What you'll see here is largely reworked versions of my posts on social media, corrected and expanded to serve as proper pieces of writing.

About Me

I'm a relative newby to the Gundam fandom - I didn't get into the franchise until 2020, when the pandemic allowed me lots of free time to marathon various entries. By now, the only entries into the series that I have yet to see are G, AGE, Build Fighters and the various SD shows.
